Configure your own ARTiGO Barebone Pico-ITX Kit
The VIA ARTiGO A1100 Barebone Pico-ITX Kit packs HD video, HDMI and full 64-bit computing in an Ultra Compact Desktop form factor.
Motherboard specification: VIA EPIA-P820 Pico-ITX with 1.2GHz VIA Nano™ U2500 64-bit Processor - 800Mhz Front Side Bus and 1MB L2 cache memory; VIA VX855 Unified Digital Media IGP chipset with Integrated VIA Chrome9™ 3D/2D AGP graphics with MPEG-2/4, WMV9 & H.264 video decoding acceleration; VIA VT6122 Gigabit Ethernet controller.
Bays: 1x 2.5in SATA SSD or HDD drive bay (SATA Cable included); 1x 44pin IDE interface for Flash Disk On Module (DOM).
Memory: 1x 200-pin socket supports up to 2GB DDR2 533/667/800MHz SDRAM SODIMM
Front Panel: Power switch; Power & HDD LEDs; 2x USB 2.0; 1x Mini USB 2.0; Line-out, Line-in and Mic 3.5mm audio sockets.
Rear Panel: VGA Output; HDMI Output; 2x USB 2.0; 1x Gigabit Ethernet; DC 12V power input socket.
Power supply: Universal 100-240V External AC Adapter connects to 12V power socket.
Supported operating systems: Windows XP and Windows 7 have so far been tested on the A1100.
The complete VIA ARTiGO A1100 Package consists of: 1x ARTiGO A1100 (comprising SATA ribbon cable, chassis & VIA EPIA-P820 board); 1x Setup CD disk (comprising software drivers and utilities); 4x HDD screws; 1x Power cord; 1x AC Adapter; 1x Installation guide.
5 Minute Assembly: Unlike the A1000, the A1100 comes pre-assembled. Unscrew a plate underneath the unit to install RAM. Remove the top of the unit to install a 2.5in SATA HDD or SSD.
Cooling: The motherboard has a passive heatsink fitted. A quiet 25 x 10mm fan draws air through side of enclosure.
Optional items available separately: VESA Mounting Kit; SD card reader; IEEE 802.11 b/g Wireless module. Some optional items will not be available at launch.
Disk On Modules: A 44pin IDE Flash Module can be fitted. This takes the position of the optional SD card reader. Remove the front panel and fan tray/bracket to gain access.
Measurements: 146 x 52 x 99 mm / 5.7 x 2.0 x 3.9in (W x H x D); Volume: 0.75 litres; Weight: 600g / 1.32lbs (without HDD).
