I asked Miss Kanna to design ERN005-PC (KANA). The name "KANA" was given by the generous Miss Kanna.

I utilised a previous Mini-ITX project I called "Dynabook". (see Monthly PC-DIY February 2004)

First of all I made the frame with Poly Vinyl Chloride pipes. It was a bit smaller than the planned scale, but it will do. I built the motherboard mountings to fit the Dynabook. This time I did not use aluminium stays as usual, I integrated the motherboard into the frame with PVC pipes.

Sticking the polystyrene foam around the frame. The hair has no frame inside - the dome-like shape is constructed from polystyrene alone.

Designing the hair and other pieces while surface-modelling with Micro-Hollow-Globular-Resin-Clay (MHGRC). The frame was disassembled into several parts during this process. The frame and polystyrene blocks are bit smaller than the planned size so that I used additional clay to make the final form.
